Is the mist hot?

No. The Stay Brush uses cool, room-temperature water. Nothing heats up.

Will my pet get wet?

Barely. It's a fine mist that leaves fur slightly damp, never soaked.

Is it loud? My pet is nervous.

It makes a soft hiss when misting. Introduce it slowly over three days: let your pet sniff it switched off, then mist into the air a few feet away with a treat, then try a short session.

What goes in the tank?

Clean water only. No shampoo or oils.

How do I charge it?

It charges by USB and is cordless while you brush. Charge it fully before the first use.

How do I clean it?

Press the release to drop the loose fur, then wipe the tips. Keep the charging port dry.

Does it work on my pet's coat?

It works on short, long and double coats for cats and dogs. It isn't made for tight, severe mats; see a groomer for those. If your pet has a skin condition, ask your vet first.
